A few words of who we are.

History of EDIS brand starts more than a hundred years ago. My great grandmother created spectacular ladies hats in Art-deco style right after the end of World War one.

These fine pieces of fashion art decorated the heads of freethinking glamour girls from the 20-s and 30-s of the last century. You can see her pictured here wearing a straw hat of her own design and making. It looks like she just came from a movie about the roaring twenties.

My great grandmother Antonia originated from Poland. When she got married she received a title of nobility. There were a lot of talented people of many nationalities in our family. Until recently the main cultural influence on our family came mainly from Greece.

Cultural strength that comes from Crete and Mycenae with their unbelievable costumes and high status of woman in society that’s what today is our aesthetical reference point of creative work. Ancient standards add architectural elegance and extra geometry to our brand’s DNA.

The birthplace of Aphrodite, who was born from a seashell, was Cyprus with its beautiful countryside. It inspired us to create feminine and natural images.

Ecological performance is one of the main guidelines of sensuous approach to creation that runs in our family business enterprise.

All the ladies hats are designed and made by members of our family only from environmentally safe materials. Every single specimen is unique and is made only once for a special lady owner who is beautiful, brave, clever, intelligent and of high social status.
